The exam for NDA admission is conducted in two-stage - 

●▪Written Examination
●▪Interview

In written examination, one has to prepare for 2 subjects - 
Mathematics and General Ability. Every subject has an exam
 time limit of 2½ Hours. Total score for Mathematics is 300 &
 General ability is 600. 

Students who qualify for an interview, which includes both Intelligence 
and Personality Test. In the interview, all verbal and nonverbal assessments 
should be administered in order to determine the intelligence of aspirants.
 Aspirants also have to undergo tests like to Group Discussions, Group
 Planning, Outdoor Group Tasks, etc. They will also be asked to give 
Brief Lectures on Specified Subjects. Army, Navy Wings and 10 +2 Entry
Scheme aspirants have to undergo an Intelligence Test & Personality 
Test. If you are aspiring to join Air Force Wing then you must attend
 a Pilot Aptitude Test.

Life at NDA

The NDA training is so rapid and intense that the time seems to be flying 
here. A cadet learns to live his life with zeal and dedication over a brief 
time of stay in the academy. Each cadet's life is a golden moment in the
 National Defense Academy. The first aspect any aspirant faces upon entering 
the academy, is the haircut, the identification of cadets to the outside world.
 A bicycle is allocated to all the cadets in the academy which basically is
their home for their further education. There is a room give to every cadet. 
The rooms are tested at any point so that the cadet holds things right.
 NDA never made its cadets bored as a number of events, including quizzes, 
debates, x-country, boxing, athletics and so forth, take place regularly.
